In this video, I do a quick review of the Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Control.

This infrared remote has two options that let you control your camera. If your camera is in a picture mode, you can take a picture immediately, or after a 2 second timer. If your camera is in video mode, you can start/stop the video, or you can take a picture. If the AF is on, this enables you to refocus the camera while you’re in front of it.

The bigger downside is that the RC-6 operates using infrared, so you must be in line of sight of the camera. You must also be located in front of the camera, since that’s where the sensor is located.
