Nikon D7100 Preview

In this video, Matt Granger from ThatNikonGuy/PhotoNewsReview does a preview of the Nikon D7100 DSLR camera which was introduced today. Featuring a 24.1MP DX sensor with 6fps, 51 AF-points with 15 cross-type AF points, and a weather-sealed magnesium alloy body, this is a great alternative to the Nikon D600 camera if you don’t need full-frame. For videographers, this camera can go up to 30p or 60i, and features both a mic input and headphone output so you can monitor the audio that is being recorded.

I’m looking forward to see if Canon will reply to this with a 7D II in the near future.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 AF speed and noise test

In this video, I do a demonstration of the AF speed and noise of the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens on a T2i camera.

This lens has the old-fashioned AF systems, and is not ultra fast, though not so bad either. It does make a bit of noise, so if you’re trying to be discreet at a wedding, this is probably not the best lens for you.
